Renting for Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 3,178 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Places around Java include Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction.

Under the hood

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo; drive: front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 7.8 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 23 litres of fuel. At our price setting, it costs about $13.65 to drive 100 km.

Space and size

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA lists 368 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Our A4 cars

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking in plain terms

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Driver basics

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
