SUV rental: Daewoo

Renting the Daewoo

If you need an SUV, read about the Daewoo here, then request it. Winter tires are an add-on on the SUVs that offer them.

Specs, explained

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Renting this car

No Daewoo is in our fleet today; ask for one in a request and we search for your dates. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

What we ask of drivers

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

How booking works

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

One more step

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
