SUV rental: 2021 Toyota RAV4 LE in Java

SUV rental: the 2021 Toyota RAV4 LE

If an SUV is the plan, the 2021 Toyota RAV4 LE is worth a look; here is why. Winter tires are an add-on on the SUVs that offer them.

The RAV4 and Java

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Nearby places include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Specs, explained

It runs the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Its combined rating is 7.9 L/100 km, which means roughly 24 litres for 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $12.25 in fuel at our price setting.

Best uses

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

Space, size and seats

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

In our fleet

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you.

Rules for renters

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Make a request

If a car here fits, request it for your dates.
