Tire change: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for tire work on the Bertone we arrange a trusted shop. Tread depth matters for grip in rain and snow; the shop measures it.
Your car, your notes
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What we arrange
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
A car meanwhile
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Getting a clear quote
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Good habits for your car
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
Next step
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request tire change
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
