Tire change: how we help
Need tire work for your Karma? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. Tires are swapped, balanced and checked for wear, and the shop sets its own price and time.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Tell the shop the tire size printed on the sidewall; it differs by trim.
What CarmaCars does here
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Between shop visits
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
What to ask
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
Send a request
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request tire change
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
