Tire change: how we help
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For tire work on the Rivian, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. Tires are swapped, balanced and checked for wear, and the shop sets its own price and time.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
How the request works
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
A rental while you wait
The rental is priced like any other on our site. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
What to ask
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Between shop visits
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
Next step
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request tire change
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
