Between shop visits
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
Talking to the shop
Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
