The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.

The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Before the shop starts
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Car care, briefly
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
