Tire change: how we help
Your Tecstar, LP needs tire work? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Tread depth matters for grip in rain and snow; the shop measures it.
Details the shop needs
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
The steps
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
Keep moving meanwhile
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
A short checklist
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Small things that help
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
Ready to ask?
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request tire change
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
