Arranging the work for the TX
For tire work on the Lexus TX, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. Storing your off-season tires is often something the shop can arrange.
Your car, your notes
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the TX. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
Our part and the shop's part
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Small things that help
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
Before the shop starts
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
Let us know
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request tire shop
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
