A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

The PAS: Tire shop
The PAS and tire work: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Tires are swapped, balanced and checked for wear, and the shop sets its own price and time.
Your car, your notes
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
The steps
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Your rental while you wait
The rental is priced like any other on our site. We collect the rental when your car is back. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Between shop visits
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
Ready when you are
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request tire shop
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
