The Ram: Tire shop
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for tire work on the Ram we arrange a trusted shop. Tires are swapped, balanced and checked for wear, and the shop sets its own price and time.
Details the shop needs
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Tell the shop the tire size printed on the sidewall; it differs by trim. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
How we help
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car.
Your rental while you wait
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Before the shop starts
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Between shop visits
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Ask us
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
