Tire shop: how we help
The SRT and tire work: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Tread depth matters for grip in rain and snow; the shop measures it.
Details the shop needs
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Tell the shop the tire size printed on the sidewall; it differs by trim. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
The steps
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
A car while yours is in the shop
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Car care, briefly
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
Questions first?
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
Request tire shop
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
