The VPG: Tire shop
Your VPG needs tire work? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Storing your off-season tires is often something the shop can arrange.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
The steps
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
A car while yours is in the shop
The rental is priced like any other on our site. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Talking to the shop
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
Car care, briefly
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Questions first?
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request tire shop
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
