Arranging the work for the A6
For a tow on the 2007 Audi A6, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.
Your A6 and the shop
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The powertrain to know here is the 3.1L 6-cylinder, with front-wheel drive.
What to send us
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
A rental while you wait
We collect the rental when your car is back. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Good habits for your car
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
Still deciding?
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
