Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
What CarmaCars does here
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
Keep moving meanwhile
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Car care, briefly
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Send a request
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
