The Ford CT8000: Towing
Need a tow for your Ford CT8000? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.
Your CT8000 and the shop
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
What to send us
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
Driving while yours is at the shop
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Talking to the shop
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Good habits for your car
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
Questions first?
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
