The Ford Freestyle: Towing
The Ford Freestyle and a tow: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.
Your car, your notes
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Freestyle. If you have the service history of your Freestyle, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
How the request works
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. You approve the shop's quote before any work. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
A car while yours is in the shop
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Good habits for your car
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
What to ask
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Make a request
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
