Arranging the work for the Ranger
Your Ford Ranger needs a tow? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. If you have the service history of your Ranger, have it ready for the shop.
How the request works
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
A car meanwhile
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Car care, briefly
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Next step
Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
