The 2004 Ford Taurus: Towing
For a tow on your 2004 Ford Taurus, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.
About your Taurus
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Taurus. If you have the service history of your Taurus, have it ready for the shop. It uses the 3.0L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive.
From request to repair
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car.
A car meanwhile
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. The rental is priced like any other on our site. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Talking to the shop
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Between shop visits
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
Ready when you are
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
