Arranging the work for the C5
For a tow on the GMC C5, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.
About your C5
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
How we help
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Car care, briefly
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Still deciding?
A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
