Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Car care, briefly
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
