Arranging the work for the WHM
Towing for the GMC WHM: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.
Before the shop sees your WHM
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. If you have the service history of your WHM, have it ready for the shop.
Our part and the shop's part
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
A rental while you wait
Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Talking to the shop
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Car care, briefly
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
