Towing for the GMC WIM
For a tow on the GMC WIM, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.
Your WIM and the shop
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the WIM. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
What to send us
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Talking to the shop
If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Small things that help
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
One more step
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
