The 1985 GMC WIS: Towing
For a tow on the 1985 GMC WIS, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.
About your WIS
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
Who does what
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We collect the rental when your car is back. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Good habits for your car
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
Before the shop starts
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Still deciding?
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
