Towing for the 1996 Lexus LX
For a tow on the 1996 Lexus LX, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The 4.5L 6-cylinder does the work, through a 4-speed automatic.
What CarmaCars does here
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
Driving while yours is at the shop
The rental is priced like any other on our site. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Between shop visits
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Getting a clear quote
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Questions first?
Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
