Arranging the work for the RX
Need a tow for the 2008 Lexus RX? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The 3.3L 6-cylinder hybrid with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.
How we help
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
A car while yours is in the shop
We collect the rental when your car is back. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
A short checklist
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Small things that help
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
One more step
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
