Towing: how we help
Need a tow for the 2009 Lexus RX? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.
Before the shop sees your RX
If you have the service history of your RX, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The 3.5L 6-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.
How the request works
You approve the shop's quote before any work. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
Your rental while you wait
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Small things that help
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
A short checklist
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Your move
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
