Arranging the work for the Protege
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a tow on the Mazda Protege we arrange a trusted shop. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Protege. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
From request to repair
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Between shop visits
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Make a request
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
