Arranging the work for the Maxima
Your 2001 Nissan Maxima needs a tow? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.
About your Maxima
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Maxima. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The 3.0L 6-cylinder, paired with a 5-speed manual, drives it.
Who does what
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Driving while yours is at the shop
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
Between shop visits
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
Send a request
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
