Towing: how we help
Towing for the 2008 Saab 9-7: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.
About your 9-7
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. It uses the 4.2L 6-cylinder and all-wheel drive.
The steps
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
A rental while you wait
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Before the shop starts
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Good habits for your car
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
Next step
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
