For a tow on the Scion tC, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.
Before the shop sees your tC
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
From request to repair
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Driving while yours is at the shop
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Car care, briefly
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
A short checklist
Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
