Arranging the work for the Forester

Your 2020 Subaru Forester Limited needs a tow? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

    About your Forester

Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. If you have the service history of your Forester, have it ready for the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The 2.5L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT).

    Who does what

You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.

    Good habits for your car

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

    A short checklist

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

    The Forester and Java
