The VPG MV-1: Towing
Your VPG MV-1 needs a tow? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.
About your MV-1
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
Our part and the shop's part
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
A rental while you wait
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We collect the rental when your car is back. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Before the shop starts
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Car care, briefly
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
When you know your dates
Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.
Request towing
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
