The Quantum Technologies: Transmission repair
Searching for transmission repair for the Quantum Technologies? CarmaCars does not do this work itself; we arrange it with a trusted shop. Slipping, harsh shifts or a delay when you select a gear are reasons to have the transmission looked at.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
The steps
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.
A rental while you wait
Add a rental to the same request as the repair. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Car care, briefly
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
What to ask
Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Still deciding?
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request transmission repair
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
