Turo alternative: 1981 Audi 5000

The 1981 Audi 5000: Turo alternative

For a rental car, the 1981 Audi 5000 could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Under the hood

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Living with the 5000

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk.

Who rents the 5000

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Getting this car from us

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

Your booking, in three steps

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What to have ready

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
