What the specs mean

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It is rated 8.6 L/100 km combined: about 26 litres every 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $45.15 in energy at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

What the A4 is like

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA lists 368 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Requesting a car

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Driver basics

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
