Every Bertone X1/9 year
Turo alternative: the Bertone X1/9
For a rental car, the Bertone X1/9 could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Reading the spec sheet
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Inside and out
Low and compact, it is a car for the drive more than the cargo.
Who the X1/9 suits
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a summer weekend or a special occasion more than a move.
Renting it
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Who can rent
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
Booking, step by step
The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
Over to you
Send a request today, and approve the offer only if it works for you.

Can I rent a Bertone X1/9 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
