About the 2012 BMW Active E
If a rental car is the plan, the 2012 BMW Active E is worth a look; here is why. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
What the figures tell you
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Who the Active E suits
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Size and space
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with.
In our fleet
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Renting: the basics
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
From your dates to the handover
Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
