Turo alternative and the Dodge Viper
If a rental car is the plan, the Dodge Viper is worth a look; here is why. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
What the specs mean
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
How big it is
As a two-seat sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second.
Can I rent it?
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Your booking, in three steps
Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
Driver requirements
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
When you know your dates
A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.

Can I rent a Dodge Viper in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
