The figures, translated

Its 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo drives through an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 23 litres, from its 7.8 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.09, and a 300 km weekend about $36.27.

How big it is

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

Our Escape cars

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Before you rent

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Booking in plain terms

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
