Before pickup
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
