Renting the GMC Acadia
This page looks at the GMC Acadia for anyone searching for Turo alternative. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Engine and fuel
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Best uses
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Living with the Acadia
Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.
In our fleet
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Booking made plain
Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
Licence, age and card
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.
Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
One more step
Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.

Can I rent a GMC Acadia in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
