Renting the GMC C5
This page joins two things: Turo alternative, and the GMC C5 in plain words. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Engine and fuel
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
What the C5 is like
As a car, it is easy to drive and park in the city.
Good uses for the C5
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Renting it
We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
What we check
Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
How booking works
First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Can I rent a GMC C5 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
