Turo alternative with this car
The 1985 GMC DK for a rental car: the facts first, then the booking. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Reading the spec sheet
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
What the DK is like
As a car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight.
Good uses for the DK
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
Getting one from us
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
What happens when you ask for a car
First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
What we ask of drivers
You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
Let us know
The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.

Can I rent a 1985 GMC DK in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
