Turo alternative: GMC NR

Turo alternative with this car

For a rental car, here is what the GMC NR brings, and how to request one. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Engine and fuel

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Room inside

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Renting the NR from CarmaCars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

Before you rent

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Booking with CarmaCars

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
