What to have ready

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
