Turo alternative: GMC WCS

Turo alternative and the GMC WCS

Here is the GMC WCS, for anyone after a rental car. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

The numbers in plain words

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

A good match for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Room inside

As a car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight.

Getting this car from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

How it works

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Who qualifies

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
