Turo alternative with this car

Searching for Turo alternative? Here is the Kia Optima: what it is like and how to rent it. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

The figures, translated

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Good uses for the Optima

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Space, size and seats

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway.

Our Optima cars

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

Checking your details

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

How to book

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Turo alternative: the Kia Optima

Can I rent a Kia Optima in Toronto?

Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.

How old do I need to be to rent?

18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.

How much is the deposit?

Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.

What coverage do I need?

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.

Can the car be delivered?

Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
