The Lexus GS: Turo alternative
Searching for Turo alternative? Here is the Lexus GS: what it is like and how to rent it. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
Specs, explained
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
What to expect from the GS
As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight.
Best uses
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Getting one from us
Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
The rules, briefly
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.
Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
From request to keys
All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
Let us know
When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.

Can I rent a Lexus GS in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
